<div itemprop="description">Bob passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the age of 70 years. <br><br>He was predeceased by his mother and father, and sisters Jean (Stan) and Maudie (Al). Bob leaves a legacy of loving memories for those who knew him. <br><br>Bob is survived by his loving wife Edie; daughter Michelle (Brian); sons Richard (Lindsey) and Jeff (Kristie); grandchildren Ashton and Taya; brother Alfred (Elsie); sisters Dot (Elwood) and Elsie (Barry); sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews and many extended family members and friends. <br><br>Bob, son of Alfred and Albertina, was born on December 10, 1946 and grew up in Weekes, SK. He moved to Regina in the late sixties and this is where he met his wife and soul mate Edith Lenton. They were married on September 28, 1968 and enjoyed 48 years of marriage together. <br><br>Bob first worked for IPSCO, and then the City of Regina for 36 years, retiring in 2009. He was also self-employed in gas station, hotel, ice cream and lawn aerating businesses, often while still working at his regular job. <br><br>Bob loved sports and the outdoors. Many family outings involved camping and ball diamonds. Bob also spent time with his buddies hunting birds and big game and in later years took up fishing, travelling to various lakes in the province where he enjoyed this pastime, especially his annual winter fishing trips to Nipawin. Later the farm at Nipawin was used as his place to get-away with his furry companion Ruby. After retiring he discovered Mazatlan and this became a winter destination he looked forward to each year. Bob enjoyed gardening, especially planting and tending to his tomato plants, and planted an apple tree wherever he lived. He became a proud grandpa when he was 66 years old. <br><br>A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. <br><br>Those so wishing may make a memorial donation in memory of Bob to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9. <br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.</div>
