<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that Lisa's family announces her passing on Friday, October 28, 2016. <br><br>She was predeceased by her parents Walter (1999) and Betty (1985). <br><br>Lisa is survived by her loving husband Barry; children Johnathon and Jesse (Jessica); and her fur babies Bandit, Rocky and Whiskey. Lisa is also survived by her brother Darryl (Kathy); cousin Michele Glaze (like a sister); parents-in-law Bob and Reta; sisters-in-law Bonnie Runge (Kevin), Heather Melnyk (Mike) and Holly Tomlinson (Jay); as well as her nieces, nephews and great nephews. <br><br>Lisa was employed with Sasktel for 23 plus years before being diagnosed with Stage Four Colon Cancer on October of 2010. Lisa endured over 125 chemo therapy treatments over a period of 4.5 years before the cancer took over. <br><br>During this battle she never gave up her countless hours of volunteering with Hockey Regina, Queen City Box Lacrosse and managing her son's hockey and lacrosse teams. Lisa was recognized by Sask Lacrosse 2012 and the Major's Honour Roll in 2014 for all of her volunteering with sports. <br><br>Lisa was an outstanding mother to both of her boys and all of their friends who found her house a home for so many meals and fun times. Lisa was blessed to have many great friends who supported her with all of her fundraising and just to come and visit her during chemotherapy treatments. <br><br>Lisa was a huge supporter of Relay for Life and every year she would try to out do the previous years fundraising dollars raised. <br><br>Lisa and her family would like to thank Dr. Zarkowich and her nurse Paula, as well as the nurses and staff of the Allan Blair Cancer Centre for their exceptional care throughout her 5 1/2 year battle. Also for the Palliative Care home nurse Donna and all of the staff at the Pasqua Hospital ICU who made her time comfortable for Lisa and her family during her final days. <br><br>A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. <br><br>Memorial donations in Lisa’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre 204-3775 Pasqua Street, Regina, SK S4S 6W8 or to the Queen City Minor Box Lacrosse - 5 McCormick Crescent, Regina, SK S4T 6J9.<br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.</div>
