<div itemprop="description">Jacob of Tyvan, SK passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017. <br><br>He was born to Jacob and Barbara Hoffmann on February 6, 1920 in Odessa, SK. <br><br>He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (nee Harlos). <br><br>Jacob is survived by his children Janice (Dave) Ulrich, Judy Kilback, and Doug (Laura) Hoffmann; grandchildren Kathy (Pat) Marcia, Kelly (Angie) Ulrich, Curtis Kilback, Colleen (Farhad) Nikbakht, Corlee (Brent) Bradshaw, Christa (Tracy) Masko, Karla (Derrick) Warren, Edward (Kim) Hoffmann and Caleb Hoffmann; 25 great grandchildren; brother Carl (Eva) Hoffmann; and sister-in-law Deloris Hoffmann. <br><br>Jake served in the military for several years. Following the war he returned home to marry Dorothy and also to start farming. Jake enjoyed woodwork and he liked to hunt, fish and make sausage. <br><br>Dad and Mom spent many winters in Texas. <br><br>Dad says thank you to all who took care of him over the past few years. <br><br>A CELEBRATION OF JAKE’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. <br><br>Donations in memory of Jake may be made to the Wascana Rehabilitation Center – Veterans Ward, 2180 - 23 Avenue, Regina, SK S4S 0A5. <br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.</div>
