<div itemprop="description">Cecilia Margaret Voss passed away peacefully with two of her daughters by her side, on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at the Regina General Hospital, at the age of 81 years. <br /><br /><br />She was predeceased by her husband, Frank George Voss in 2013; her parents, George and Barbara (Szeles) Bereti; brothers, Joe, John, Martin, Frank, George, Gasper and Louis; sisters Mary, Rose, Barbara, Anne, and Helen. <br /><br />Cecilia is survived by her children, Pauline, Shelley (Mark), Marvin (Maureen), Audrey (Shawn) and Faron (Kim); eight grandchildren: Leonard, Jeffrey, Stephanie, April, Amber, Jesse, Brayden and Regan; three great grandchildren; and many family members, including her sister Lillian; brothers Andy (Helen) and Bill (Delphine); sisters-in-law, Elizabeth, Margaret and Mary; and brothers-in-law, Andy and Steve. <br /><br />Cecilia was born June 7, 1934 on the family farm north of Cupar, SK. In 1955, she married Frank Voss and they moved to the city of Regina in 1956, where they built a happy family life together. Cecilia was a kind, loving, and creative mother who made growing up in the same house, fun. She was very generous and placed others first at all times. <br /><br />She worked at Sears Canada on 4th Ave and Broad St from 1975 to 1999. She was a very hard worker and enjoyed making friends and participating in the workplace social events enthusiastically. <br /><br />A heart of gold stopped beating early in the morning of September 17, 2015 here on earth, while now it shines beautifully in Heaven. Cecilia had a wonderful congenial personality that endeared her to everyone. Cecilia loved to socialize and there is no doubt that a major reunion of family and friends is taking place! <br /><br />The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and caregivers at Parkside Extendicare and the Regina General Hospital Unit 3E, who cared for Cecilia, with respect, during her recent illness. <br /><br />A PRAYER VIGIL will be held at the Regina Funeral Home, 4001 Victoria Avenue East (Hwy#1 East), Regina, SK on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. <br /><br />A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 135 Douglas Avenue East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Jose Periyilkatte celebrant. <br /><br />Those so wishing may make a donation in memory of Cecilia to a charity of their choice. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850. <br /></div>
