<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that the family of Martin announces his peaceful passing on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. <br><br>He was a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His greatest blessing happened with the birth of his first grandchild and continued through to his great grandchildren. <br><br>He was predeceased by his parents Mary and George; stepfather Joseph; brothers Joseph, George and Albert; sisters Hilda and Erna; sister-in-law Winnifred; brothers-in-law Ivor, Jack, Frank and Norman. <br><br>He is survived by his loving wife Leonora; three children Patricia (Ian), Ruth (Brian) and Steven (Corinne); seven grandchildren Evan, Stephanie, Grant, Candice (Jonathan), Mat, Mark (Alex) and Mike (Nicole); four great grandchildren Ethan, Logan, Brooklyn and Maddisyn; sisters Ida and Margaret; sisters-in-law Emma and Diane; brother-in-law Bill (Frances) and numerous nieces and nephews. <br><br>Special thanks to the staff in 4B at the Pasqua Hospital and especially Tanya, Alaina and Dr. Alport for their kindness and compassion. <br><br>A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 4th Avenue North, Regina, SK on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to make a donation in memory of Martin may be made to the charity of your choice. Dad was a generous and charitable man, this is what he would appreciate from others. <br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.</div>
