<div itemprop="description">Laura, long time resident of the Raymore area, was born on October 16, 1916 in the Lodi District and passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Parkside Extendicare in Regina. <br><br>She was predeceased by her first husband Alfred Dahl in 1938; second husband Charles in 1990; daughter Lorraine Senft in 1996; son-in-law Ray Hayko in 1997; granddaughter in infancy Raylene Carolyn Hayko in 1966; brothers Eddy and Bill; sisters Pearl, Hilda, Annie, Irene and Yvonne; Charles’ sisters Cecelia, Katherine and Annie. <br><br>Laura is survived by her daughter Carol Hayko; son Calvin (Marielle) Loef; son-in-law Del Senft; grandchildren Dale (Patti) Senft, Charlene Senft, Dean (Cara) Hayko, Sophie (Mike) Ramage and Jonathan Loef (Nicole); great grandchildren Christina (Jason) Gillespie, Danika Hayko, Tate and Talon Ramage and Kaleb Loef; great great grandchildren Landon and Blake Gillespie; plus many extended family and friends. <br><br>Laura was one of eight children and attended the Omar Country School until grade 8. <br><br>She married Alfred Dahl and they had one daughter Lorraine. Alfred passed in 1938 from TB. <br><br>She later married Charles Loef in 1941 and lived on the family farm north east of Raymore. Together they had two children Carol and Calvin. <br><br>Laura remained on the farm until his passing in 1990 when she then moved into Eastview Lodge in Raymore. Laura’s final move was in 2012 when she moved into Regina to Parkside Extendicare. <br><br>Special thanks to all the nurses, caregivers and staff at Parkside Extendicare for all the care and compassion given to Laura and family in the years she spent there. <br><br>A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Family interment service will be held in Raymore at a later date. <br><br>Donations in memory of Laura may be made to the Parkside Extendicare, 4540 Rae Street, Regina, SK S4S 3B4. <br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.</div>
