<div itemprop="description">Eleanor was born November 11, 1934 and passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. <br><br>She was predeceased by her husband Dennis in 2012. <br><br>Eleanor is survived by her four daughters Sharon (Stan) Gibler, Shelley (Garry) Kainz, Lynnell (Bruce) MacDougall and Leanne (Gord) Mohr; eleven grandchildren and their spouses; and twenty-one great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Evelyn (Jim) Becker, Emery (Dorothy) Schettler, Melvin (Linda) Schettler and Shirley (Ken) Davies; brother-in-law Brian (Evelyn) Rumpel; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and cribbage partners. <br><br>Eleanor was born, attended and taught school in the McLean area. She met Dennis at a fair in Edenwold and they married in 1953. <br><br>She had a green thumb and loved to garden, attend to flowers and plants. Eleanor spent many fun filled hours’ playing cards with family and friends. <br><br> A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. A reception for family and friends will continue at the Balgonie Multiplex. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eleanor may be made to the Balgonie 1st Responders, Box 181, Balgonie, SK S0G 0E0 or Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, 9 Lancaster Road, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1M8 or charity of your choice. <br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.</div>
