<div itemprop="description">Anne passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013. She was born on December 5, 1920 on a family farm in Hubbard, SK. <br /> <br />She was predeceased by her husband Stan on May 7, 2002; her parents; and nine brothers, Alex, Mike, Henry, George, Nick, William, Russell, Fred and Matt. <br /> <br />Anne is survived by two daughters, Marlene (Ken) Morrison of Calgary, AB and Glenda (Dave) Halter of Saskatoon, SK; five grandchildren, Brent and Darren Morrison of Calgary, Leanne Halter, Greg Halter, Darla (Curtis) Klassen all of Saskatoon; two great grandsons, Tyler Halter and Andrew Klassen; three great granddaughters, Leah, Kate and Emma Klassen all of Saskatoon; two sisters, Olga Yablonski of Regina and Irene (Boyd) Denny of Saskatoon; two brothers, Walter (Joan) Stecyk of St. Catharines, ON and Victor (Elaine) Stecyk of Richmond Hill, ON; four sisters-in-law, Emily, Janet, Mildred and Rita; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />Anne and Stan were married October 19, 1941. They made their home in Hubbard, SK for fourteen years. Anne was active in the 4-H Club, assisting with various projects. She was a member of the Hubbard community club. Anne enjoyed knitting, especially si-wash sweaters for family and friends. After moving to Ituna in 1962 she joined the CWL and the hospital auxiliary. She took up curling, which she did for many years. Anne cross country skied and enjoyed playing bridge. She also had a big garden which kept her busy. After Stan retired they travelled extensively. <br /> <br />A FUNERAL MASS will be held at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 315 Douglas Avenue East, Regina, SK on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jose Periyilkatte celebrating. <br /> <br />In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301, 2550 &ndash; 12 Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8. <br /> <br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
