<div itemprop="description">Wilma was born on January 26, 1935 in the Lafleche area, and passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Sunset Extendicare in Regina at the age of 79 years. <br /><br />She was predeceased by her son Michael; parents Ed and Zorah; twin in infancy Wilfred; brothers Wesley and Alvin; sister Sylvia; sisters-in-law Annetta and Dorothy; and brothers-in-law Frank and Albert. <br /><br />Wilma is survived by her children: daughter Coralie (Gord) Genereux and their family Jennifer (Dwayne) Melcher, Pamela, Robert and Kimberley; son Jeff Hahn and his daughters Amanda, Allison and Sarah; daughter Katherine Hahn (Kevin Baker) and their daughter Michelle Hahn-Baker; son Kelvin Hahn and his daughter Kyra Thomas; Michael&rsquo;s daughter Shannon (Torrey) Kempin; 13 great grandchildren; brother Raymond (Margaret); sisters Goldie (Alfred) and Alma; special friend and companion Bruce Weiss; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. <br /><br />Wilma attended the one room school house in Harwood School District and received her high school diploma in Assiniboia. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts and Science degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1956 and proceeded to work at the Provincial Library. In 1976, she received her Master of Library Science from the University of Alberta. <br /><br />Wilma retired in 1989. She moved into her last home on Victoria Avenue in 1991, where she resided until shortly before her passing. Wilma enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and also had a strong passion for gardening, reading, sewing and charitable activities. Wilma will be missed by all who knew her. <br /><br />A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. <br /><br />In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilma&rsquo;s memory may be made to Amnesty International, 312 Laurier Ave E, Ottawa, ON, K1N 1H9 or the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 12th Avenue Regina, SK, S4P 3X1 or to a charity of your choice. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850. <br /><br /></div>
