William 'Bill' Gillis
January 5, 1930 - October 6, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Kenneth Clark Gillis, late of Gray, SK, on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.
Bill’s memory will be forever cherished by his loving family, wife Sina of 57 years; sons Douglas (Annette Malten) of Budapest, Hungary, Ken (Debbie) of Langley, BC and Rick (Shannon) of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren Michael, William, Cameron, Lindsay, Trevor, Sullivan and Kenna; sisters Betty Gillis, and Opal Bohlken; brother Carl (Joan); as well as many family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Josephine; brother Grant; brother-in-law Kenneth Bohlken and Lawrence Koziol.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE IN HONOUR OF BILL’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Family interment will take place at a later date.
Those wishing to make donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association, 1231 8th St. E, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5 or the Gray United Church, Gray, SK S0G 2A0.
