Wilhelmina "Minnie" Junker
February 10, 1911 - November 18, 2015
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Minnie on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 just three months shy of 105 years.
Minnie was the last living descendent of the Anton and Theresia Bachman family from St. Joseph’s Colony, SK.
She joins her husband Tony; her infant son; and all her brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish Minnie’s memory are many nieces and nephews.
A very special thank you to niece Rose Butz and nephew Joe Bachman for their constant care, visits and the many treats given to Minnie over the years.
She will be dearly missed by them, and all who knew her.
Minnie and Tony married in 1938 and lived on the dairy farm from 1938 - 1946. They grain farmed until their retirement, moved to Balgonie, and then moved to Regina in 1993.
Minnie loved singing and sang twenty years with the Golden Age Singers, and she also sang in the Balgonie church and community choirs.
She loved sports, curling, dancing, golfing and often talked about her hole in one. She was proud of her many trophies.
A FAMILY GATHERING will be held at St. Anthony’s Mausoleum, Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Danilo Rafael officiating.
Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.
