Wayne passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016.
He was born in Cane Township, Ontario on June 29, 1935.
He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Annie (nee Alberta) Lorenz, brothers Blake and Karl; sister Roberta; dear friend and brother-in-law Dick Dawson; and father-in-law Adolph Semkiw.
Wayne leaves to mourn his wife Frances; children Rick (Magda), Linda (Larry) Brandon and Brenda Lorenz; as well as his sister Karen.
Wayne spent five years in the Navy, worked underground in the Macussa Gold Mine in Kirkland Lake and was an iron worker for 35 years. Wayne retired from iron work at 60 years old and enjoyed keeping in touch with his friends and family. He loved horses, dogs, country music and spinning tall tales.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
