<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Vera Rosom on Friday, July 17, 2015, late of Helping Hands Care Home and formally of the Davin District.<br /><br />Vera was born August 12, 1923 in the Springside District. She was the eldest daughter of Gus and Elsie Mantay. <br /><br />Vera was predeceased by her parents; husband Ernest in 1996; infant son Larry; and sister Rose Minke. <br /><br />Left to mourn Vera&rsquo;s passing are her children, Edith (Murray) Selzer, Violet (George) Leepart, Darlene Rosom, Margaret Twerdy, David (Sheryl) Rosom and Garry Rosom; grandchildren Deanna (Les) Myers, Lyle Selzer, Ryan (Marina) Selzer, Heather (Bruce) Malkinson, Greg Leepart, Crystal (Jake) VanderBurg, Nicole Twerdy, Jeff (Nicole) Rosom, Scott (Laura) Rosom and Ashley Rosom; great grandchildren Brandon and Andrew Myers, Hadley Selzer, Amelia and Blake Selzer; Nickolas, Juliana, Samuel and Grace Malkinson, Alyssa and Derek VanderBurg, Joel and Alice Rosom; sisters Evelyn Klause, Frances (Don) Neibrandt, Betty Mantay, Dorothy (Elvin) Haller, and Gladys (Dave) Kneller; brother Lawrence (Hilda) Mantay; and brother-in-law, Albert Lang. <br /><br />Vera&rsquo;s greatest joys in life were her family and her faith which included white cross and volunteer work at various churches. She enjoyed travelling, gardening and family gatherings. <br /><br />The family would like to thank the staff at Helping Hands Care Home for their dedicated care during this past year. <br /><br />A CELEBRATION OF VERA&rsquo;S LIFE will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 437 Broadway Avenue East, Regina, SK on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. <br /><br />In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Vera may be made to the Gideons International in Canada, P.O. Box 3619, Guelph, ON N1H 7A2 or a charity of your choice. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
