<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that the family of Stan Pogany announces his passing on Friday, February 10, 2017. Stan was predeceased by his parents Louis and Mary; brothers Joe and Louis; sister Ella; father-in-law and mother-in-law Clifford and Virgina Fawcett. Stan will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years Valerie; and their children Randy (Lisa) and Karen. Stan was an avid sports fan and particularly enjoyed golf which he was very good at. When Stan graduated from high school he went to work at Bowman Bros as a machinist until he joined the Regina Fire Department in 1958. Dad had an exceptional career on the department until his retirement in 1988. Mom and Dad loved to travel and especially loved travelling to Hawaii. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Stan may be made to the Regina Firefighters Burn Committee, Box 1422, Regina, SK S4P 3C2.
