Rosemarie "Rose" Young
August 16, 1950 - October 10, 2016
Rose was born on August 16, 1950 in Halifax, NS and passed away suddenly on Monday October 10, 2016 in Regina.
She was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Mary Louise Young-Gaudet; and stepfather Edward.
Rose is survived by her son Dana (Cherie); granddaughters Payton and Hartley; stepmother Kay Young; sister Linda McKendrick; niece Gayla (Becky) McKendrick and their son Ryker; Dana’s father Albert Hannah; plus other extended family and friends.
Rose was a stay at home mom until Dana was older and then worked for home care and Cheshire Homes. She sacrificed herself to help others and make their lives better. She will be remembered for being kind and a caring soul who will be deeply missed.
Her granddaughters brought her the greatest joy.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rose may be made to the Camp East Seal c/o Saskatchewan Abilities Council, 825 McDonald Street, Regina, SK S4N 2X5.
