Ron was passionate about football and was quarterback for the Saskatoon Hilltops and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Ron co-owned and operated a service station then he moved into management with Sears from which he retired.

Ron was a people person, he always had a happy greeting and a handshake that meant something. He had a unique laugh that we all loved to hear. Ron was a kind and gentle man, and a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and great grandfather. He was always there for his grandchildren with a big hug and a listening ear. Ron especially loved holidays and looked forward to helping with the Christmas baking by eating all the broken cookies. Grandpa Ron will be missed by all of his family who love and treasure him. We are grateful for the beautiful spirit of Ron.

Special thanks to the staff of Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region.
