<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dick on Monday, February 8, 2016. <br /> <br />He was predeceased by his father Victor; and mother Allis. <br /> <br />Dick is survived by his loving wife Nesta; step son Larry (Karen); step daughter Noreen (Kim); grandchildren Kimberly (Brett), Kurtis (Carissa), Dusten, Taylor (Carl), Carter (Stefanie) and Evan; great grandchildren Payton, Isaiah, Hunter, Dilyn, Harper, Julian, Berlin, Kael, Heaton and Charles; brothers Vic (Lorna) and John (Bev); numerous nieces and nephews; and special cousin Martha. <br /> <br />Dick was born in Killdeer, SK on December 16, 1926. He was a proud member of the Golden Sunset Seniors Club in Pilot Butte. <br /> <br />Dick worked for TransCanada Pipelines until retirement. He married Nesta Lolacher in 1986 and had an instant family with two adult children and three grandchildren, throughout the years his family grew. He loved family and friends and loved to tell many stories from the past. Dick was the greatest story teller of all times. <br /> <br />His best interest and most favourite past time was building airplanes, truck camper, a boat and many other iron works (which are displayed in many yards around Pilot Butte). <br /> <br />In his last year of life he was well cared for at the Pilot Butte Country Lane Care Home. The family wishes to extend a very special thanks to Anne and Zenny and the rest of the staff. <br /> <br /> A CELEBRATION OF DICK&rsquo;S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., with a gathering to follow at the Golden Sunset Seniors Club in Pilot Butte. <br /> <br />Donations in memory of Dick may be made to the Golden Sunset Club, Box 207, Pilot Butte, SK S0G 3Z0. <br /> <br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
