<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a father, partner, grandpa, brother and friend, Raymond Arthur Cooper, who passed away in Regina, SK on Friday, July 25, 2014. <br /><br />He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Kathleen Cooper, in 1995. <br /><br />Ray leaves to cherish his memory, partner Lois Gayle Keith; children Holly Rae Cooper (Guy Desrosiers), Pamela Dawn Cooper and Ryan Kent (Karamee) Cooper; step-children Nancy (Craig) Hosford, Chris (Shauna) Duke, and Mary Jane Keith (Fritz Burchard); grandchildren, Samantha Cooper, Mason Cooper, Knox Cooper, Keith Hosford, Abby Hosford, Ryland and Kealan Duke; sister, Corrine Vestigo; as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews. <br /><br />Ray was born October 10, 1938 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to parents Sidney and Alwine Cooper. Ray grew up in Winnipeg, and started his career in the Auto Parts industry working for Gillis and Warren, R.E. Spears, TRW and ERI. He also farmed land southwest of Regina. <br /><br />Ray was an active member of the Antique Auto Association for several years. He completed the restoration of his 1926 Hudson that so many of his family and friends knew him to be &ldquo;famous&rdquo; for in years to follow. Ray enjoyed doing stained glass and over the years his family has been given some unique and special gifts from him which will be cherished for life. He also loved photography and has taken many pictures of his family over the years. <br /><br />Throughout his later years with Lois, he has enjoyed his winters in Arizona and his summers at Buena Vista Beach. Ray was the most honest, caring, smart, hardworking, and talented man his family and friends have come to know, and his sense of humor will be greatly missed. <br /><br />A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held in Ray&rsquo;s honor at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow. <br /><br />In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ray may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 7T1. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
