Randall Nelson
January 16, 1962 - June 9, 2016
On Thursday June 9, 2016 Randy reunited with his family and friends beyond the sky.
Randy was born on January 16, 1962 in Regina, SK to proud parents Earl and Kay Nelson.
Randy was a kindred spirit who believed in establishing strong family roots and loved kids and animals. His favorite things to do included travelling with his family, heading to the lake, as well as road trips to Edmonton.
Randy was a dedicated union member of USW Local 5917. He enjoyed working and was never afraid to get his hands dirty. One of Randy’s most valuable qualities was his willingness to help when help was needed. Anyone that knew Randy knows how much he enjoyed catching up over a coffee and donuts.
Randy leaves behind his beloved wife Barb; daughters Shandra (John) and Cara. He is survived by brothers Calvin (Shelley), Darcy (Debbie), Dale (Leanne); sister Linda (Dave); best friends/cousins Wendy and Kerry; along with numerous nephews, nieces, many friends, and his canine buddies Bandit and Thor.
If I could do it all over again, I would hold your hand, One Love.
A CELEBRATION OF RANDY’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, 4001 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. An interment at Regina Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Friends and family so wishing to donate in Randy’s memory may direct their donations to Thyroid Cancer Canada, 308 Main Street Toronto, ON M4C 4X7.
Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.
