It is with sadness we announce that Paul passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the age of 79 years.

He was predeceased by his parents Sidney and Maggie Woiken; sister Vi; and brother-in-law Jack Kammermayer.

Left to honour his memory are his wife of 54 years Pauline; and his children Kirk (Holly), Gwen and Craig. Paul will also be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, some he was fortunate enough to see earlier this year, but most especially his nephew Darrell, nieces Corinne and Karen and their families.

Paul was born in Benito, Manitoba and raised in Arran, Saskatchewan.

He worked for SGI for 46 years prior to his retirement starting in Regina, moving to Saskatoon and later returning and moving throughout several offices in Regina.

Over the years Paul enjoyed trapping, hunting and fishing with his friends and family, as well as many camping trips. He instilled a great appreciation for nature and wildlife in his family including taking “Bear” out for a ride in his old Ford to look for deer at dusk. Later years were spent making trips to the cabin as often as possible where he would take turns being “skunked” while fishing.

Paul came from meager beginnings and took pride in providing and building a legacy for his family to enjoy.

At his request a “GATHERING FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY” will be held at the Austrian Edelweiss Club, 320 Maxwell Crescent, Regina, SK on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Please join the family in remembering Paul.

Flowers gratefully declined.
