We sadly announce the passing of Pauline Krause (nee Brandt), our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Pauline passed away peacefully and with dignity at Parkside Extendicare in Regina on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at age of 79.

For Pauline, family meant everything. She loved the simple things that family life brought and was especially happy in her second marriage to Gordon Krause.

He predeceased her, as did her furry sweetheart Brandy, and she missed them both greatly. She was also predeceased by her parents, Jennie and Sigmund; and her first husband.

Pauline’s smile and her laugh were infectious. Her sense of humour was dry and quick and no matter what, she always looked for the good in people and the fun in every situation. She was unfailingly kind to everyone, co-workers during her many years in business, neighbours, friends and family, and the attentive and compassionate people who cared for her so lovingly in her last decade of life. Pauline also had fierce determination and an endearing stubborn streak all wrapped up in a heart of gold.

Left to honour and cherish these and many other memories are her family near and far, her brother Larry Brandt and his family (Georgia, Marty, Michelle, Dana, Michael and Maddux); sons Daryl Kozack and Kevin Kozack (Salmera); daughters Barb Krause-Snow (Martin) and Trish Krause (Nancy); and her beloved grandchildren Emma, Andrew, Curtis and Jeremy. These kids meant the world to her and she was thrilled and always proud to be known as Grandma.

At Pauline’s wishes there will be a private graveside service for family.

Flowers are gratefully declined, but those wishing, may make a donation in Pauline’s name to the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7 or a charity of your choice.

Arrangements in care of Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.
