<div itemprop="description">Mike passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 with family by his side. <br /><br />He was predeceased by his parents John and Eva Pawlust; his wife of 49 years Mary; brothers-in-law Gordon Lozinski and John Lozinski; and sister-in-law Anne Lozinski. <br /><br />Mike is survived by sons Terry (Tammie) and Myron; grandchildren Clint Pawlust and Amanda (Tory) Wolter; great grandchildren Dylan and Britney Pawlust, Taylor and Tennesee Wolter; as well as many nieces and nephews. <br /><br />Mike was born November 21, 1924 in Lorelei, SK. He farmed in Ituna, SK. <br /><br />Mike worked in the forestry industry, and in 1963 he moved to Regina where he worked for Beaver Lumber, at a service station and a paint factory. <br /><br />After retirement he worked as a caretaker at the Ukrainian Hall for several years. Both Mike and Mary were active members of the Greek Orthodox Church. <br /><br />The family would like to thank all the nurses on Unit 3D at the Pasqua Hospital for the care and kindness they showed Mike; it was greatly appreciated. <br /><br />A PRAYER SERVICE will be held at Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1920 Toronto Street, Regina, SK on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. <br /><br />A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. <br /><br />In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mike may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3 or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
