<div itemprop="description">Merlyn &ldquo;Murray&rdquo; passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the age of 78 years. <br /> <br />He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Lillas; wife Dorothy; brother Wayne and nephew Blair. <br /> <br />Murray is survived by his companion of 37 years Noreen Northcott; children Richard, Douglas, Laura (Doug) Hoffmann; Noreen&rsquo;s children Melissa Northe and Daniel Northcott; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Meta (Don) Murray as well as numerous nieces and nephews. <br /> <br />Murray went to the University of Agriculture. He was an active member of the Kinsmen K40. <br /> <br />Murray enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling, coaching hockey, woodworking, gambling and volunteering in the community. He was a farmer and raised cattle. <br /> <br />He also enjoyed vacationing in Florida and Texas. <br /> <br />A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Donations in memory of Murray may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301, 2550 &ndash; 12 Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1. <br /> <br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
