Matilda passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2016 with her family by her side.
She was predeceased by her parents Anton and Mary Ottenbreit; husband Fred; daughter Grace Galanos; brothers John, Chris, Emil, Aloysuis and Richard; and sisters Eva, Anna, Mary, Theresa, Betty and Martha.
Tillie is survived by sons Stan (Marjorie), Gary (Leona) and Lloyd (Bernadett); favorite son-in-law John Galanos; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and sisters Elma Schlechter and Ann Herperger will miss her dearly.
Tillie grew up in the Grayson area where she lived with her family. She later farmed with her husband Fred until moving to Regina where she lived until her passing.
Matilda was a member of the Little Flower Parish for many many years.
A PRAYER SERVICE will be held at Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at Little Flower Roman Catholic Church, on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tillie may be made to the Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6.
