<div itemprop="description">Dad passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the age of 83 years. His final hours were spent with family and friends by his side. <br><br>Dad was born and raised in Lemberg, SK. He left Lemberg as a young man and embarked on a trucking career that lasted over 50 years and 5 million miles. His career took him throughout Canada and the USA. <br><br>Dad loved to travel and share his stories with friends and family. Dad is now on a road that we all will travel some day and once again he will be able to share his stories with us all. <br><br>He was predeceased by his parents John and Veronica; his wife Dorothy; son in infancy Dale; sister in infancy Felice; and brother-in-law Phil Procyk. <br><br>He will be lovingly remembered by his special friend Ivy Zerr; his children Rick (Sheri), Darrell, Debbie and Saralyn; grandchildren Tiffany, Kristin (Brett), Jenna, Ryan, Jessica, Kaylee and Lindsay; great grandchildren Royden, Jorja-Anne and Sophie; sister Dorothy Procyk; and brothers Edward (Johanna) and John (Marilyn). <br><br>The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff of Elmview Extendicare. <br><br>A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dad may be made to Elmview Family and Resident Support Group Inc., 4125 Rae Street, Regina, SK S4S 3A5. <br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.</div>
