<div itemprop="description">Ken Beckett, late of Balgonie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Country Lane Care Home in Pilot Butte at the age of 92 years. <br> <br>He was predeceased by his wife Jean (July 15, 2003); son Darrell (October 6, 1973); parents Nora and Frank; brother-in-law Jim Harries and son-in-law Garry Shiplack. <br> <br>Ken is survived by his family and children Donna (Dave) Hernon, Terry (Marina), Rod (June) and Vesta Shiplack; grandchildren Stacy (John), Sean (Steph), Tara (Charlie), Mike (Shawna), Shane (Vanessa), Nick (Kelsey), Jackie (Mike), Kelly, MacKenzie (Jamie) and Madisson (Travis); great grandchildren Jacob, Sara, Katelyn, Kaden, Ella, Coleman, Carissa, Chiara, Callie, Marc, Michael, Bella, Tenley, Shayla, Jaysa and Janesa; sister Mavis Harries; plus numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. <br> <br>A special thanks to all those at Country Lane Care Home in Pilot Butte for all the care and compassion given to dad and our family, especially to Shannon, Anne, Zeni and Azel. <br> <br>A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Balgonie Baptist Church, 102 Main Street, Balgonie, SK S0G 0E0 on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Darold Sauer officiating. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ken may be made to the Country Lane Care Home, 108 8 St, Pilot Butte, SK S0G 3Z0. <br> <br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850. <br></div>
