<div itemprop="description">Katie (Katherina) Jackle, nee Klemenz, died peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2014 just seven months past her 100th birthday. <br /><br />Formerly of Kayville, she resided at the Regina Lutheran Nursing home for the past 15 years. <br /><br />She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Theresia; her husband Karl; a grandson Jared Jackle; brothers Mike, Frank, Nick, John, Bill; sisters Lena Popescue, Betty Houston, Teresa Nagy, Eva Kellington, brother-in-law Louie Jackle; and sisters-in-law Lena Whitell, Gustie Schmidt and Alma McGregor. <br /><br />Katie leaves to mourn her children Arline (David) Juravle and children Arron, Jocelyn, Gregory and Carla (Lazurka); Lorne (Barbara) and children Agnes (Rob Spriggs), Leonard (Cheryl), Brent (Rachelle), Lorna (Radek Stobiecki) and Madonna (Dan Oliver); Raymond (Nancy) and children Alison (Jon Katz) and Ryan (Vicktorija); Elaine (John) Taylor and children Chanda (Lonni Schultz), Jonell (Shawn Buss), Zackary (Caroline); Gaylene (Michael) Bodnaresk and children Crystal (Chris Peterson) Matthew, Nicole and Kristen; great grandchildren Megan, Davin, Lauralee, Rosalie, Taylor, Arryn, Sky, Quincey, Lukasz, Michal, Orion, Seanna, Alora, William, Cameron, Jesse, Ariana, Levi and Benjamin; sisters Annie Lieppi, Gertie Moss and Mary Miller; brothers Rudy (Ida) and Henry (Beth) Klemenz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. <br /><br />She will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a devoted and hardworking individual who helped run a farm, raise a family and support a community. She also found time to develop her many talents as a seamstress, baker, quilter, and hostess. <br /><br />The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the administration and caring staff at the Regina Lutheran Home. <br /><br /> Donations in memory of Katie may be made to the Regina Lutheran Home, 1925 5th Avenue N., Regina SK S4R 7W1. <br /><br />A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
