<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our wife, Mom, Nana, Great Nana and friend. <br /><br />Joy was born in Winnipeg, MB, grew up in Estevan and moved to Regina to begin her nurses&rsquo; training at the General Hospital. Joy spent her summers at the cottage at Long Lake which she loved and shared with many family and friends over the years. Joy worked as an RN at the General Hospital and Pioneer Village. <br /><br />She was predeceased by her parents Bill and Agnes Henry; sister Maureen (Dave) Hornby who she missed greatly. <br /><br />Joy will be forever cherished and missed by her loving husband Len; children Drew (Brenda) and their family Lyndsay (Simon) Ash, Preston (Rachel) Callander and Britton (Teanna) Callander; Shannon (Ward) Hitchcock and their family Jenna, Cody (Jenny) and Katilyn; Jock and his family Chase, Mackenzi and Pierson; great grandchildren Keigan, Emma, Tyler, Emerson, Blake, Royan and Madilyn. <br /><br />Family and friends were all that was important to Joy and she always held a special place in her heart for her extended family. <br /><br />The family will always be grateful for the special and professional care provided to Joy by the compassionate and amazing staff at Elmview Extendicare. The staff made an unbelievable difference to the quality of Joy&rsquo;s last year with us. <br /><br />A CELEBRATION OF JOY&rsquo;S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. <br /><br />In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joy may be made to the Parkinson&rsquo;s Society, Regina, SK. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
