<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Josie Schramm on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the age of 89 years. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her three daughters Christine, Brenda and Carol; parents Peter and Karoline Konanz; sisters Annie, Maggie, Liz, Mary and Evelyn; brothers Adam, Joe, John, Cosmos, Max, Peter, George and Edward. <br> <br>Josie is survived by her husband Ewald; son David (Debra); grandson Guy (Robyn); her great granddaughter Stella; sister Clara Vollman; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. <br> <br>Josie was a long time resident of Balgonie, SK before moving to Parkside Extendicare in Regina. <br> <br>She was a cashier most of her working days and had worked for Schwann’s and retired from Sherwood Co-op grocery store. <br> <br>She was a wonderful, caring mother and auntie to Sandie and Brian, Shawna and Curtis and their families. <br> <br>Josie was an excellent cook, baker and homemaker who loved to help at all the family celebrations with her expertise. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to visit with friends and family. <br> <br>The family would love to thank all of the care givers at Parkside Extendicare for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave Josie during the years she lived with them. They played a huge part of Josie’s life and made a big difference in ours. They are the most wonderful, caring and loving individuals you will ever meet. They treated her, and us, like family and couldn’t do enough for her. She loved all of them so much. Josie will be deeply missed and forever by all who knew her. <br> <br>At Josie’s request there will be no formal funeral service. A family interment and gathering will take place. <br> <br>Flowers most gratefully declined.
