April 11, 1930 - February 6, 2016
We sadly announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law and friend Joseph ‘Joe’ K Wihlidal of Regina (formerly of Grayson) on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the age of 85 years after a brief illness.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna (Batza) Wihlidal; seven brothers; eight sisters; and one granddaughter.
Joe is survived by his loving wife Peggy; daughters Geronda (Ben) Schaeffer, Denise (Dave) Shand; son Cory (Stephanie); grandchildren Kyle Schaeffer, Kelsey Schaeffer (Brett Moore), Colby Shand (Lindsey Dixon), Sydney Shand and Alyssa and Blake Wihlidal; brothers Phillip (Doreen), Carl, Ed (Gladys); sisters Valerie (Jack) Novak and Sylvia Zimmer; sister-in-law Delia Wihlidal; and Peggy’s sisters Geraldine (Darryl) Powell, Shirley (Jim) McFadden and Paulette (Allan) Herauf; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated at Holy Child Roman Catholic Church, 2636 7th Avenue East, Regina, SK on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
Flowers gratefully declined.
