Jerry Wilfred Duke
January 27, 1924 - October 18, 2016
It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of Jerry Duke of Truax, Saskatchewan who passed away peacefully with family at his side on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Predeceased by his brother Edgar, sister-in-law Edith and parents Samuel Wilfred and Ivy Narene (Rowley), Jerry spent his 92 years living and working on the family farm homesteaded by his father.
He is survived by nephews Mark (Katherine) and their sons Nathan and Anthony of Regina; and Blair (Michelle) and their sons Drew and Ashton of Saskatoon.
He was also predeceased by special friends Leo and Lena Pointer whose children Byron, Debbie, Ron and Della and their extended families will deeply miss him.
Jerry, a kind, gentle soul who loved nature, his cows and farm life was also known as a great story-teller and local historian.

A VISITATION will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
We are exceedingly grateful for the care provided by the dedicated staff of the Pasqua Hospital Emergency, Code Burgundy, and especially Unit 4A who treated him with kindness, dignity and tender care.
Donations in memory of Jerry may be made to Unit 4A care of the Hospitals of Regina Foundation, P.O. Box 1697, Regina, SK S4P 3C6.
