<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce Irene&rsquo;s passing on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the age of 75 years after a short courageous battle with cancer. <br /><br />She was predeceased by her parents, Hubert and Noellie Mouly; in-laws John and Pearl Erza; along with many other family members, including her Godchild, Brenda Rydzik who recently succumbed to the same illness.<br /><br />Irene is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Joe; two children Bonnie (Garry) Rydzik and Kelly (Angela) Erza; five grandchildren Ryan (Rachelle) Rydzik, Tyler (Chelsea) Rydzik, Cassandra Rydzik, Hope Fulton and Nathanial Erza; three great-grandchildren Kaitlyn and Morgan Rydzik and Kash Rydzik; siblings Helen Blattner, Lucille Czerwonka, John (Irene) Mouly, Alice Johnston, Yvette (Doug) Stark, Wilfred (Pat) Mouly and Raymond (Rita) Mouly; sisters-in-law Jeanette Erza, Bertha Romanow and Frances Jurzyniec; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. <br /><br />Irene had a fulfilling career as a Loans Officer in the banking industry for 30 years. She then retired to enjoy her love for her flower beds and gardening, cooking and baking, knitting, winter getaways with Joe, but most importantly spending time with her family and friends. <br /><br />Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will always cherish the memories of time spent with her. She will be missed dearly. <br /><br />The family would like to thank the staff of the Pasqua Hospital 4A and Palliative Care units for the loving care given to Irene during this time. <br /><br />THE FUNERAL SERVICE will be celebrated at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Ed Hengen officiating. <br /><br />In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Irene may be made to http://www.conquercancer.ca/goto/kerza. Kelly will be participating in the Ride to Conquer Cancer. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.</div>
