July 20, 1942 - April 6, 2017
Gus passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the age of 74 years.
He was predeceased by: his sister and brother-in-law, Mady and Joe Fitzgibben; step-father Walter Pfeiffer; and, parents-in-law John and Edith Fabian.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by: his wife of 25 years, Marianne Fabian; his mother Alice Pfeiffer; siblings in law Richard (Kim) Fabian and Jennifer Fabian; niece, Jolene (Daniel) Arthur; nephew, Scott Fabian; grand-nephew Alexander Arthur; and step mother-in-law Alvina Forsberg.
Gus loved life and took pleasure in family, friends, pets and many interests and hobbies. Always cheerful and optimistic; he will be deeply missed.
The family wish to thank the Medical Intensive Care Unit Regina General Hospital staff and family physician Dr. Jenny Kuzmicz for their kind care of Gus.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gus’ favourite charities: Soul’s Harbour Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 3356 Stn. Main, Regina, SK S4P 3H1 or the Regina Humane Society, P.O. Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7.
