It is with heartfelt sorrow, that the family of Gordon Frederick Graham of White City, SK, formerly of Stoughton, SK announces his passing on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the age of 80 years.

Gordon is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eleanor; his two children Sherrie (Glen Busse) Graham-Busse and Tim (Paula); grandchildren Lexi and Sawyer Busse, Julia and Sam Graham; his two brothers Elgin Graham (Sharon) and Leonard Graham (Joanne); brother-in-law Jim Walker; chosen family Darwin and Shannon Fenn; nieces, nephews and the rest of his family and friends.

Gordon was born November 15, 1934 to Pete and Emma Graham in Regina, SK. He graduated from Balfour Tech Collegiate in Regina. He always said his favorite part of school was recess.

Gordon married Eleanor E. Prior on September 29, 1962. They were married for an amazing 52 years.

Gordon was a man of the land. The love of growing crops, raising cattle and cleaning grain was what made him tick. He was an inventor of equipment and natural mechanic. With his wife Eleanor by his side they worked the land for 50 years to grow a productive and progressive grain and cattle operation at Stoughton, SK. Gordon never minded hard work and made sure that working hard was a happy occasion.

They retired to White City in 2013 to be closer to family.

Gord enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He always had time to stop for a cup of coffee with a neighbor. Gord would go out of his way to lend a hand, even if it meant that his work might be put on hold for a while.

He loved skating on the crick, taking the grandkids for dune-buggy rides and working in his workshop. Sunday was a day of rest for Gord, which he looked forward to spending with Eleanor and his kids.

A CELEBRATION OF GORDON’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Glenn Hobden officiating.

Donations in memory of Gordon may be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, 3535 8th Avenue, Regina, SKS4T 0T6.

Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.
