<div itemprop="description">Gloria passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016, with her family by her side. She was the youngest and last surviving child of 14 born to Fred and Bessie Eliese. (Annie; Octavio; Alice; Alex; Steve; Victor; Andrew; Teodor; George; Nicolas; Sylvia; Lillian; and Titus). <br><br>She leaves to mourn her husband of 57 years Al; her children Cheryl (Chip), Cheryl, Mark (Suzanne) and Wanda; grandchildren Ashley, Lisa, Angela, and Holly; and 10 great grandchildren. <br><br>Gloria was an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother. She was the most cheerful, loving and compassionate woman. Nothing was more important than her family. <br><br>Gloria had an iron will, she was courageous, brave, and an amazing fighter who never complained a day in her life. Gloria lived and breathed for sporting events. She enjoyed bowling, was a huge fan of Curling and Figure Skating, and was a devoted and loyal follower of Canada’s Olympic Athletes. In her later years, she developed into the biggest Blue Jay Fan!! Her favourite sporting events however were those which involved her children whom she avidly supported, including bowling, baseball, speed skating and many Track and Field events at Douglas Park. <br><br>Music touched Gloria’s soul, she loved Country and Western. One of the highlights in her life occurred when she attended Fan Fair in Nashville and was able to meet her idol, Tammy Wynette. <br><br>Gloria had an unparalleled love for gardening as well as her pets. She was also an active volunteer for many charitable causes. She enjoyed Sudoku, Brain Games, Nintendo DS, reading biographies, watching her favourite TV shows and most importantly, talking to her children on the phone. <br><br>Gloria retired from her 45 year career with WestFair Foods on her birthday, October 8, 2004. Her work ethic was unparalleled. She was Head Cashier/Price Changer for FoodLand, Pic ‘N Pak, Economart, Loblaws, OK Economy and Extra Foods. She made everlasting friendships with coworkers and had exceptional relationships with her customers. <br><br>A special thank you to those Doctors and Nurses who cared for Gloria at the Pasqua Hospital. <br><br>A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR GLORIA will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, November 9, at 2:00 p.m. <br><br>Memorial donations in Gloria’s name may be made to a charity of your choice. <br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
