Gerald Schuster
June 19, 1931 - May 14, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gerald “Gerry” A. Schuster announces his sudden passing into the hands of the Lord on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Gerald was born in Dysart to John and Thelma “T.J.” Schuster.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Fran on March 23, 2017; son David; and brothers Jerome and Dave.
Gerald is survived and sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Lynn Schuster (Hansen), children Treena (Sonny) Becker and Scott (Bryna) Hansen; Brenda (Ness) O’Scienny; children Chandra (Gregg) Jennens and Kyle (Kasia) O’Scienny, Ellen (Ellie) Wood, sons Corey (Shaylyn) Wood and Shane Wood (Carey); six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; sisters Cleone (Keith) and Donelda (Willie); sisters-in-law Lorraine and Lee; plus nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Gerald owned and operated Day and Nite Plumbing and Heating for over 25 years making many friendships and acquaintances in the business community. He was an active volunteer with Knights of Columbus reaching 4th degree Status. In later years his passion was golfing and spending winters in Mesa, Arizona.
A SERVICE TO CELEBRATE GERALD’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
Flowers gratefully declined, donations in memory of Gerald may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9, Saskatchewan Lung Association, 1231 8th St. E, Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5 or a charity of choice.
