Florence Olson
May 23, 1919 - March 15, 2017
With sadness we announce the passing of Florence Olson on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Echo Lodge in Fort Qu’Appelle, SK.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Carl in 1974; parents Joseph and Elizabeth Williamson; brothers Robert, Joseph and John Williamson; and sister Mary Skinner.
Florence will be loved and remembered by her sons Joseph (Janet) Olson and their children, Robin (Brad), Robert (Melanie) and James (Chrissy); and Allan (Colleen) Olson and their children Gregory (Michelle) and Ryan (Tanya) Olson. Florence is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
She was a loved and respected teacher.
After retirement she spent many years enjoying reading, playing bridge and travelling the world.
The family would like to thank the staff at Echo Lodge in Fort Qu’Appelle for their kind and compassionate care.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday March 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
Donations in memory of Florence may be made to the Echo Lodge Long Term Care Facility, Recreation Department, Box 1790, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK.
