<div itemprop="description">It is with heartfelt sadness that the family announces the passing of Elsie on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the age of 87 years in Winnipeg, Manitoba. <br /><br />She was predeceased by her beloved husband Herb; her parents Matilda and Jacob; her sister Emilie and her dear son James who passed away three months ago. <br /><br />Elsie leaves to mourn her daughter June (Ron) Stroich; son Bob (Lori) Stuermer; daughter-in-law Debbie Stuermer; and grandchildren Jennifer (Chris), Allison (Dave), Rob, Mike (Kelly), Kristin and Courtney; great grandchildren Jody, Cara and Kalem and; her brother Arthur (Eleanor) Lubachowski; and sister-in-law Lucy Stuermer. <br /><br />Elsie was a caring mother and loving grandmother. She will be deeply missed, and leaves behind many cherished memories. <br /><br />She lived the last years of her life in River Park Gardens, Winnipeg. Her family wishes to sincerely thank all the staff at River Park Gardens; we are so grateful for the excellent care and love she received there. <br /><br />A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Highway # 1 East, Regina, SK on Wednesday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. Following the reception, the interment will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery on Assiniboine Avenue East in Regina. <br /><br />Donations in Elsie&rsquo;s memory may be made to a charity of choice. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
