Elizabeth "Betty" Koncz
January 26, 1945 - May 2, 2016
At 71 years, Betty peacefully went Home to her God on May 2, 2016.
She was predeceased by her parents Mathias and Elizabeth Achtzener; sister Maxine Samways; father and mother in-law Kalman and Esther Koncz; sister in-law Helen (Alex) Volman; brother in-law Joseph Koncz.
Betty is lovingly remembered by her husband Andrew of 46 years, daughter Kathrine (Mark) Verbeek; her “Top 3” grandchildren Jordan, Lukas, and Megyn; brother John (Mona) Achtzener; brother in-law Ron Samways; sisters in-law Elizabeth (George) Szeles and Margaret (Francis) Sentes; sister in-law Ann Koncz; Uncle Harry Burghardt; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Special thanks to Grace Hospice nursing staff for their wonderful and gentle care of mom in her final weeks.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Highway # 1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with reception to follow.
