Eileen Muriel Jameson
March 6, 1941 - April 8, 2016
Peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2016 Eileen went to join her mother and father.
Eileen was born March 6, 1941 in Regina to Arthur and Emma (Schmidt) Jameson. She had one sister Shirley. She grew up on 8th Avenue in the house her dad had built.
She played the violin as a child and taught school in Regina for 33 years.
Eileen had travelled to Halifax to visit family; which was why after she retired she started looking into her family history.
Eileen loved dogs all through her life. She had teacup poodles for many years, which she loved like they were her children.
She was very proud to be a teacher and often gave her great nieces and nephews books to read and take home when they visited.
Eileen was predeceased by her dad in 1980, her mom in 1993 and her sister Shirley in 2015.
She will be missed by her nephew Garry Steadman (Marcia); niece Sandra (Kevin) Daugherty; great nephews Cameron Steadman and Jaramey Daugherty; great nieces Aerien and Kathleen Steadman; as well as many cousins.
The family would like to thank the Staff at the Lakeside Personal Care Home in Wolseley, SK for their wonderful care of Eileen.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850.
