<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Alice Emily Fuller (nee Brooks) of Regina on Friday, July 22, 2016. <br><br>Left to honour her memory are her three children Stan (Marilyn) Fuller of Saskatoon, Vicki (Bruno) Geschwandtner of Regina and Ken Fuller of Saskatoon; five grandchildren Jeffry (Kathy) Stevens, Michelle (David) Pruden, Jennifer (Keith) Fillinger, Lori (Stacey) Skibinsky and Michael (Donita) Geschwandtner; ten great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. <br><br>Doreen was predeceased by her husband George; parents Charlie and Ethel Brooks; sister Molly (George) Ashmore; brother George (Kay) Brooks; nieces Debbie West and Marlene Ashmore; and nephew-in-law Eric West. <br><br>Doreen was born in Minnedosa, MB. Shortly thereafter the family moved to Indian Head, SK, where she grew up on her beloved Bell Farm. <br><br>She married George Fuller in 1945 and three children later they moved to Grenfell in 1951, Balgonie in 1961 and finally to Regina in 1979. She worked part time and enjoyed volunteering, while raising her family. <br><br>Doreen liked both playing and watching sports, gardening and genealogy, which took her to England to visit cousins and continue researching her family tree. Family and friends were very important to Doreen, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. <br><br>A GRAVESIDE SERVICE for those wishing to attend will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. <br><br>A CELEBRATION OF DOREEN’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. <br><br>The family wishes to acknowledge the exceptional care provided to Doreen by the staff and Dr. Lotz at William Booth Special Care Home and her previous long time family physician Dr. O’Byrne. <br><br>In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doreen may be made to the William Booth Special Care Home, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6 or a charity of one’s choice. <br><br>Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (306) 789-8850. <br><br></div>
