<div itemprop="description">The family of Donald Cook would like to announce the passing of their husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Donald passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Wascana Rehabilitation DVA wing. <br /><br />He was predeceased by his father Leonard Cook; mother Frances Cook; sister Marion Montague; brothers-in-law Monty, Mitt, Bob, Art, Edward and Jim; and sisters-in-law Marjorie, Evelyn and Edith. <br /><br />Left to mourn him are his wife of 67 years Elizabeth; sons Barclay Cook (Debbie) and Bradley Cook; daughter Karen Cicansky (Joe); grandchildren Trevor Cook, Isaac Cicansky, Jeremy Froh, Quinn Moerike, Tyson Moerike, Chase Cook and Cassidy Lindenbach; seven great grandchildren; sister-in-law Donna; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. <br /><br />Donald joined the war effort in WWII as a Flight Lieutenant and he served as a wireless air gunner. He was with Revenue Canada Customs for 32 years. Donald retired in Emerson, MB which was the last port in which he served. <br /><br />In retirement Don and Betty enjoyed 13 winters at their home in Weslaco, Texas. <br /><br />In 2009 they moved to Wintergreene Estates in Regina. Thank you to Wintergreene Estates and Wascana Rehab for the wonderful care Dad received. <br /><br />A SERVICE TO CELEBRATE DON&rsquo;S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. <br /><br />In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Don may be made to the Wascana Rehabilitation Center, 2180 - 23 Avenue, Regina, SK S4S 0A5 or The Royal Canadian Legion Saskatchewan Command 3079 &ndash; 5th Avenue Regina, SK S4T OL6. <br /><br />Arrangements entrusted to Regina Funeral Home (306) 789-8850.</div>
