Bernice Lehman
October 31, 1930 - March 31, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother Bernice Lillian Lehman on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the age of 86 years.
Bernice was predeceased by her infant son Darcy Hamann (1958); her husband Victor Lehman (1998); and the father of her children Herbert Hamann (2000). She is also predeceased by her parents Florian Meyer and Pauline Geres; as well as her siblings Ron Meyer, Hilda Davidson, Jake Meyers, Marie Erickson, Gwen McCudden, Fred Meyers, and Clarence Meyers.
Left to honour and cherish her memory are her children Lorne (Donna) Hamann, Reg Hamann, Darlene Anderson (Mark Jones), Deleyne (Brian) Weinberger; and her grandchildren Amanda (Geoff) Wira, Jackie Silzer (John McCoy), Joel Anderson, Karlee (Kosta) Fourlas, Krystal Hamann (Chris Armstrong), Jordan (Katrina) Anderson, Kacee (Robert) Ignerowicz, and Jesse Anderson. Also left to cherish the memories of their great-grandma are Justin, Kane, James, Leah, and Kash. Bernice is survived by her brother Harold Meyer; sister Geri (Larry) Sywyk; brother-in-law Williard (Ida) Hamann; and sisters-in-law Lorraine Brodt, Marilyn Bundus and Ella Hamann. Bernice will be dearly missed by some very special friends Sandy Hamann, Kathleen Shropshire, Irene Goetz, Emelia Hassman, and Wally and Marie Mann; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Wascana Grace Hospice for their support and compassionate care.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
Donations in memory of Bernice may be made to the Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6.
