<div itemprop="description">With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Tony at the age of 90, in Vancouver, B.C. surrounded by his family. <br><br>He was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Mary Bulani; and brothers Leonard and Walter. <br><br>Tony is survived by his wife of 55 years, Irma; four children, Jim (Barb) McBride, Glenda Plews, Roy and Janet Bulani; grandchildren, Scott, Kevin (Hillary) and Melissa McBride, Zan Plews, Stephanie Barrett, Blair, Corbin and Garrin Bulani; and three great grandchildren, Angelina Boehmer-Bulani and Sophie and James Barrett. Tony is also survived by his sister Raysa Cheberiak; and sister-in-law Jenny Bulani. <br><br>Tony grew up on the family farm near Lizard Lake north of Biggar, SK. <br><br> Dad was always a farm boy at heart. He completed his degree in agriculture at the U of S in 1949 in Saskatoon and then worked for the Provincial Government Lands Branch and Land Bank until his retirement in 1984. <br><br>Dad loved Saskatchewan, the big sky, fields of crops, small towns, friendly people and all the interesting farmers that he met through the years. <br><br> His passion after retirement was his huge vegetable garden complete with rotating chart of crops and he loved to keep up with all of the latest agricultural news. Dad liked to keep life simple and it’s comforting to know he was able to live his life on his own terms right to his last day.<br><br>A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Argyle Road Baptist Church, 3510 Argyle Road, Regina, SK on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. <br><br> In lieu of flowers please plant some potatoes, carrots, onions or tomatoes in his memory and/or make a donation to your local food bank or Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, 1836 Halifax Street, Regina, SK S4R 1T6.</div>
